An early Twentieth Century beech wood wash stand with marble top and tiled back. The tiles are a floral pattern in blue on a white background and each tile is secured with a screw and washer. The back stand has an ornate shaped top and sits on the marble work surface. There are two dovetailed drawers with rectangular brass drawer pulls and a single cabinet below for extra storage space. The cabinet is supported on a shelf which flanks it. Standing on ring turned legs and original brass castors this piece is perfect for a 'country cottage' look.
The marble top sits loose on the base and will be separated during transport.
As can be seen in the pictures supplied the washstand is in good condition throughout although it is previously used. The drawers run smoothly and the joinery is all solid.
