An early twentieth century country style pine wardrobe with central mirrored door. The shaped top features a carved wheat sheaf type motif which is also featured on the left and right hand doors. The left door opens to reveal removable shelves and a small hanging rail. The right hand door opens to a full hanging space with fittings to add a hanging rail. The central mirrored door can be locked into the closed position internally or operates on pins in the base and top rather than a hinge. The wardrobe stands a fixed base which is in turn supported on bun feet.
This wardrobe is designed to be taken apart and reassembled with out the use of screws or other fixings. Using thick dowels and tongue and groove joints this is a excellent design and allows access into the smallest of homes. There is a bit of a process to assemble this item so if you are looking to buy please be aware that it will be sent out in parts and the buyer will have to reassemble in situ. The back panel can be a bit tricky to get right but I have assembled and taken apart this wardrobe personally (twice!) and as can be seen in the pictures it all fits together nicely.
This is a previously used item of furniture and as such should be expected to show some age. Please study the pictures supplied carefully to ascertain condition. There is a chip to the front of the wardrobe.
