A late Victorian antique walnut combination wardrobe with bevelled mirror doors.
Topped with a Georgian style broken pediment cornice which matches the decorative carvings above the mirror and smaller cupboard doors.
The central cupboard doors open to reveal a shelved interior and feature beautiful foilate hand carved panels to compliment the carved panels below the full length mirrors.
An open shelf below the cupboard sits above a bank of four traditionally dovetailed and graduated drawers. Each drawer is fitted with brass pulls and fitted with a lock, although at the time of writing there is no key available.
The mirroed doors open to reveal various hooks and a hanging rail. The left hand interior has a shelf to the top.
The wardrobe sits on a plinth base and comes apart for delivery. The cornice simply lifts off which then allows the three main sections to be released. There is a screw inside the mirrored doors which connects to the central section, left and right, which needs to be released/installed which fixes the three sections together. Finally the plinth base comes seperately. The wardrobe is very simple to put up and goes together with ease.
This is an antique item of furniture and as such should be expected to show some age and character. With only he odd light scuff mark here and there to the finish. The mirrors are showing some oxidisation, although light. The drawers run smoothly and the joinery is solid showing little to no movement.
