A reproduction antique flame mahogany breakfront secretaire with fitted writing desk interior by 'Tibbenham of Ipswich'. The secretaire features a drop flap drawer to the front which opens to reveal the fitted writing interior. Brass ring drawer pulls operate the drop flap. The fitted interior is made up of five central letter racks which are flanked by two small drawers, each with a small pigeon hole above. The drop flap is inlaid with tooled red leather for a writing pad. Below the drop flap the are two cupboard doors, which form the breakfront, which are in turned flanked by another two doors. The secretaire stands on splayed feet and features a stunning split veneer flame mahogany top. The drawers are framed with cross grain wood inlays.
Good condition for age with just the odd light marks here and there.
