A Victorian antique mahogany breakfast table with circular tilting top. The fixes to the base with two bolts which also provide the hinge for the table to tilt. There is a brass handle on the underside of the table which releases the mechanism when pulled. This is great for saving space in a room when not in use and actually makes for a nice decorative feature for a corner.
The top is supported on a faceted pedestal which develops into a trefoil platform and scroll feet terminating in castor wheels.
This is an antique item of furniture and as such should be expected to show age and character. There are light marks to the top and scuffs around the base commensurate with age. Generally speaking this is in good condition. The mechanism to release the hinged top works well.
